Episode 23 - Rocket Mortgage Classic Preview

This week, Tom and Jason look at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, hosted by Detroit Golf Club. Last year Nate Lashley, a late alternate outlasted Monday Qualifier, Doc Redman in a low-scoring affair. Despite Bryson DeChambeau and Webb Simpson headlining this week, the quality of the field has dropped dramatically as many star players opt for a week off after a three week stretch, so can another outsider get the job done this week?

Episode 22 - Will Zalatoris

In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words podcast, we chatted with Korn Ferry Tour professional, Will Zalatoris. Will talks about his record-setting career at Wake Forest, where he went on the Arnold Palmer Scholarship, his move from San Francisco to Texas at the age of 9, which boosted his junior golf career, his 2017 Walker Cup experience and much more. Will is a player who is certainly ready to become a regular fixture on the PGA Tour, and is currently on a run of 7/7 cuts made on the Korn Ferry Tour this season, including top-6 finishes in each of his two starts since the Tour returned. With friends and mentors such as; Lanny Wadkins, Lee Trevino, Jordan Spieth and Tony Romo just to name a few to count on, Will certainly has a great support system around him. Hear what he owes the current level of his game to, and where he sees himself in five years time.

In the latest edition of the Lost Fore Words podcast, Tom and Jason break down the field at the Travelers Championship. With Adam Scott the only player in the top-10 of the world rankings not playing this week, this is another stacked field. If this week matches the drama of the past two weeks, we are really in for a treat at TPC River Highlands.

In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words podcast, we caught up with Jack Nicklaus Award finalist, Noah Hofman. This award is presented to the top collegiate golfer of the year, and Noah and the other finalists will find out who wins the award, which Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Justin Thomas have all been awarded in the past, at this year's Memorial tournament. Noah talks about his high school and college career, how he has been overlooked to this point, his plans for the future now he has turned pro and how these have been affected by the current pandemic. Noah has a refreshing confidence about his game, and we are glad we got to catch up with him at the start of what we hope is an illustrious career. In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words podcast, Tom and Jason briefly recap this past weekend's golf at Colonial before looking ahead at the RBC Heritage this week. With so many players in the field this week who don't normally play at Harbour Town, will the event play differently this week? How about the schedule change meaning it doesn't come directly after the Masters? There are a lot of star names in the field again this week and we have tried to break down the field for you.

Episode 18 - Tom Hoge

In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words podcast, Tom Hoge joined to talk about his season so far, which sees him sitting 22nd in the FedEx Cup standings after posting three top-6 finishes, including a 2nd this season. Tom also speaks about playing at TCU, going back to the Korn Ferry finals on multiple occasions to get his Tour card back, and the pressures and enjoyment of playing with Tiger Woods when in contention. We also touch on future goals, getting that first win on the PGA Tour and how it will feel to be back at Colonial, a course he enjoys this week after a 3-month layoff.

In the first of our weekly shows, Tom and Jason spend longer than normal chatting about this week's event. They look at how the pandemic will have affected players, who might have taken advantage from the layoff and who they expect to feature at the top of the leaderboard come Sunday. 

Episode 16 - Charles Schwab Challenge Draftkings Preview

Live golf is back! Tom was joined by Fanshare Sports writer, Lee Alldrick as they break down the best plays of the week on Draftkings for the Charles Schwab Challenge. Being the first event back it is no surprise that the best ever field for this event has assembled, and we look into who could have benefitted the most from the layoff, including two former champions of this event. Also coming next week will be Tom and Jason's weekly preview of the event and another interview with a player in the field this week. 

Episode 15 - Steven Brown

In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words podcast we were joined by 2019 Portugal Masters champion, Steven Brown. Steven has spent the past few years on the European Tour after sucesfully making his way up through the ranks from Walker Cup player, to the Alps and Challenge Tours before playing at the level he is now. Steven talks about being a late starter in the professional ranks, his ability to play well when the pressure is on and much more. 

Episode 14 - Kristoffer Ventura

In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words Podcast, we were joined by PGA Tour player, Kristoffer Ventura. Kristoffer won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour last season, and he's now looking forward to the PGA Tour getting back in action in a few week's time. Kristoffer talks about his mindset going into the rest of this season and beyond, as well as his early life which saw him move from Mexico to Norway at the age of 12, before moving to the United States to play college at Oklahoma State. Kristoffer had so many great experiences to draw upon, including a clinic with Tiger Woods when he was just 10 years old. This is an episode that is not to be missed.
