Despite Bryson DeChambeau and Webb Simpson headlining this week, the quality of the field has dropped dramatically as many star players opt for a week off after a three week stretch, so can another outsider get the job done this week?

Will talks about his record-setting career at Wake Forest, where he went on the Arnold Palmer Scholarship, his move from San Francisco to Texas at the age of 9, which boosted his junior golf career, his 2017 Walker Cup experience and much more. Will is a player who is certainly ready to become a regular fixture on the PGA Tour, and is currently on a run of 7/7 cuts made on the Korn Ferry Tour this season, including top-6 finishes in each of his two starts since the Tour returned. With friends and mentors such as; Lanny Wadkins, Lee Trevino, Jordan Spieth and Tony Romo just to name a few to count on, Will certainly has a great support system around him. This award is presented to the top collegiate golfer of the year, and Noah and the other finalists will find out who wins the award, which Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Justin Thomas have all been awarded in the past, at this year's Memorial tournament. Noah talks about his high school and college career, how he has been overlooked to this point, his plans for the future now he has turned pro and how these have been affected by the current pandemic. Noah has a refreshing confidence about his game, and we are glad we got to catch up with him at the start of what we hope is an illustrious career. Tom also speaks about playing at TCU, going back to the Korn Ferry finals on multiple occasions to get his Tour card back, and the pressures and enjoyment of playing with Tiger Woods when in contention. We also touch on future goals, getting that first win on the PGA Tour and how it will feel to be back at Colonial, a course he enjoys this week after a 3-month layoff.

Being the first event back it is no surprise that the best ever field for this event has assembled, and we look into who could have benefitted the most from the layoff, including two former champions of this event. In the latest episode of the Lost Fore Words Podcast, we were joined by PGA Tour player, Kristoffer Ventura. Kristoffer won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour last season, and he's now looking forward to the PGA Tour getting back in action in a few week's time. Kristoffer talks about his mindset going into the rest of this season and beyond, as well as his early life which saw him move from Mexico to Norway at the age of 12, before moving to the United States to play college at Oklahoma State. Kristoffer had so many great experiences to draw upon, including a clinic with Tiger Woods when he was just 10 years old. This is an episode that is not to be missed.
